The "992," which was born in 2006 as a model to commemorate New Balance's 100th anniversary, is based on the specifications of its predecessor, the "991," while further evolving the shock-absorbing material "ABZORB" and successfully updating the functional aspects, such as adopting "ABZORB SBS" in the heel midsole, which provides excellent cushioning.
Made in U.S.A. without any compromise by skilled craftsmen, it has a form that exudes a heritage-like style, and is finished with a rich texture, wrapped in high-quality pigskin suede and mesh.
